CLUTCHRIDES.COM was created by Josh and Nathaniel Curran. We are brothers and have grown up in Southern California our whole lives and have been into cars since we were little kids. Ever since we got our first rides we have been doing small modifications to our cars. It started with rims and tires, to lowering and some small engine modifications. In doing so we found ourselves looking on the internet and in car magazines for rides that have been modified to get ideas for our own rides. Many times to be disappointed in the results that we found.
We have felt that there is a need for a website that shows off people's personal rides that have spent the time to make their car differrent from the stock cars on the streets. This site was designed, for people that have a stock car, but don't quite know what rims, lowering, and bodykits will fit on their car and how they will look.
CLUTCHRIDES.COM will show many different rides from luxury cars to old school classics. You will be able to search for the ride that you have and see many different cars like yours done up with rims, body kits, engine work, tint, grills, upgraded lights, lowering packages, so that you can figure out what your car could look like.
Our goal is to prevent people from making the costly mistake of what we call the "Down grade", where people put money into fixing up their ride and actually make it look worse than the stock ride they already had.
CLUTCHRIDES.COM is going to have a required form that you will need to feel out in order to have your ride featured on our site. We want to know everything that has been done to your car. Every car on our site has to at least have a set of rims on it to qualify. You will be able to submit 8- 25 photos of your ride to us, once submitted we will decide if your ride quality enough to be on our site.. We want your ride to be shot with a high quality camera and to show every side of your car with close ups on the rims, engine, interior, and any body modifications.
